transmission problem

i just bought a 2001 camaro ss m6 a few weeks ago. the car drives good when i keep my foot out of it, but when i give it some gas sometimes it wont go into the next gear or it will grind. and also sometimes when i am pulling up to a stop light in first with the clutch in all the way it will start rolling like the clutch is half way out and it wont come out of gear. what could be the problem and how much will it cost to fix?

Start pricing new clutches Kid, if you're going to perform modify it in the future, spend the extra cashola now and get a Spec 2 or 3, or a Centerforce clutch and be done with it. You'll need to have the flywheel resurfaced. Common practice, nothing to be worried about. Since you have a 2001, as do I, you'll be okay with your Master cylinder. Your clutch assembly should include a throw out bearing, and of course a pressure plate. Start looking around online, count on spending about $350.00-$400.00 for everything. Plus labor. But the good news is, you'll probably only have to do this once....probably. You might start looking at www.lmperformance.com
