trans rebuild
i recently purchased a 99 trans am with 130k miles for $2300 but it would squeal loudly when the clutch was engaged, it had a hard time going into 2nd and reverse and the clutch would stick to the floor if driven for very long. i already puled the trans but my question is does it sound i need to get the transmission rebuilt or should i just buy a new one? i already have a new clutch, throwout bearing and slave.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
its hard to say. You could have some synchro problems for 2nd and reverse or all you problems could be related to the clutch and hydraulics. At minimum, try the new master and slave cylinders and fresh fluid in the trans.
