    t56 swap

Hello, I own a 2000 trans am with an a4. I bought a t56 and would like to know what parts I need for the swap. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Try to locate a wrecked M6 TA or Z28 and just start taking parts off- clutch pedal assmbly, center consol, stick, clutch slave cylinder, trans mount crossmember etc.etc. I have a magazine article with every step and a parts list- that I will look for.

GM high tech had an article on this back about 5-6 months ago. They had every single part you needed and the part numbers. If you have some free time go to their web site and look back about 5-7 months. I read it it was very interesting.

BUT, their final paragraph was it was much easier and wayyyyyy cheaper to just buy the car with the 6 speed in it. GOOD LUCK.

I have that freakin magazine somewhere in my house but just cant find it. It was a 99 blue z28 and they did the swap. To do the swap it was about 4-5 grand. Not sure if it is worth it? If I can find the magazine I will let you know what issue it is or maybe I can just send it to you. Man, was it over a year ago?
