    Synthetic ATF Ok or Not?

    So is it ok to put Synthetic ATF in the t-56 or not i have heard opinions going both ways and i want to know whats best. As of now i bought mobil 1 synthetic atf but if its not good for the tranny or clutch i don't want to put it in when i swap my clutch out.

    I used to use it then Dave at D & D Performance, I think that's his name, told me it wasn't good to put it in the T-56's...something about the seals....I dont know but I know they build some good T-56's and I wasn't about to ruin it......

    I have put RedLines fully sythetic ATF in MANY customers cars with NO issues and it did actually make a difference in most..... In the ease of shifting under a load that is NOT et.

    i have heard that it messes with the seals..but it also helps the cooling and shifting. so its really up to you.
