spec stage 5 question

I built my new motor and installed a new spec stage 5 in the car. During the break in period it screetches like hell. I called spec and asked them if this is normal and they said that it is. They also said that it will go away after about 500 break in miles, but I would still be able to hear the discs engaging. This is a springless dump and go clutch. just wondering if anyone inhere has this clutch and if it is still making the screetching noise. Thank you.

ok, the guy said:

yes it is normal, our TT vette has one in it, although the 500 mile breakin has not been accomplished yet. The screeching is just part of building a car that needs that stout of a clutch, if ya don't like the screeching, don't build the motor that far.

thanks a lot. Ya I definately have one hell of a motor on my hands. Tell your friend that I have reached 1500 miles , and the loudness of the screetching went away, but it is still there during take off. Spec sais this is normal. And that it will always be there. thanx again.
