    Slave Cylinder Issue??????

    Slave Cylinder issue????? Traveling at any speed......let off gas......and I hear a "fluttering" sound. Upon depressing clutch......"fluttering" sound goes away. Any thoughts from anyone? Thanks.

    Does it sound like metal rattling around? First thought is maybe the pilot bearing.

    Does not sound like metal rattling around......no metal on metal sound. Clutch has less than 5,000 on it. Tranny was out approximately 500 miles.....clutch was inspected and everything looked fine. Noise just came out of no where. With depressing the clutch and noise going away.....do you think it's pretty certain to be in transmission/clutch???????

    1s1camino.......still learning about clutches......but you're suggesting "a spring popped loose" on clutch???? Can you share more details with me. Thanks!!!!
