Short Throw Shifter
I'm looking at short throw shifters and Hurst or other 'nicer' ones are around $200, while I've found others for $30-$50. Is the price gap worth it on these?

take a better look... you're only buying the shifter handle (on e-bay) and not the entire unit... the $200.00+ ones are very much worth the money...

Navy Blue Metallic- 98 T/A, 00 FBVert, 78T/A
I got the Pro 5.0 with Lou's short stick and am seriously loving it. Changed the way I drive. The combo was about $215. Many members have it here

I had the Pro 5.0 on my 98 TA I had years ago and went with a Pro 5.0 on my current z28. That being said, I'd take a hard look at MGW's shifter. They make a quality piece and people here have raved about this shifter. Enough so, to make me think of replacing my 5.0.
