Shifter stops required?
I was watching Horsepower TV or one of those shows recently, and the big guy had a z28 in which they installed a B&M shifter.
They said at the end that they didn't bother to set the shifter stops because all T-56s have internal ones....what do you guys think?

Unlike most cases, this time believe the TV. All the other crap is just voodo. If you need to rub a rabbits foot and kiss the blarney stone , listen to the mis information posted here( you can dis reguard this too if you wish) But , again, the stops only protect for an over shift condition. There are internal stops which makes them useless. What damages forks is a missed / clashed shift. Stops do nothing for this.
