    Shifter Decision...

Since I already have the tranny out to do a clutch I was thinking of doing a shifter. I have driven a car with a B&M Ripper but never with a Pro 5.0. Which one do all you guys/girls have. The one thing I like about the 5.0 is that I can put a shorter stick on it, but its not really that necessary. Any input would help.

    Pro 5.0.

Best shifter I've ever used, and you'll never miss 3rd again.

Just go with the LS6, unless you're planning on getting some huge heads/cam package.

LS6 is the best all around choice, at least until the Weiand Street Warrior shows up

I am probably going to go with the LS6 just b/c I cannot bring myself to spend a grand ( or better ) on a 92/92 setup right now.

Also the Weiand has a 77mm throttle bore. Don't believe me: http://www.holley.com/BrowseCatalogs...Weiand&Page=25

    Second note under installition notes.

And I know that some of you will say just hog it out, but I haven't the time right now.

    Wrong Weiand intake

That one is a piece of crap for the price, plus its metal so it will heatsoak.

The Street Warrior is the new intake that Weiand developed, its nylon composite and looks much more like an LS6 manifold. With the new design they are claiming 30+HP over an LS6 manifold on an engine with basic bolt ons.

Here's a vid of it at SEMA:

Ok, Ok ,Ok, I retract my previous statement. No wonder it is creating alot of hype. I think I might just wait for it, then let you guys know how it performs.
