Is a rubber o-ring OK with brake fluid
I am replacing my clutch master and slave cylinder. Somehow I lost the o-ring for the master where the braided line connects. Will a regular rubber o-ring work as a replacement or do I need one made of some other material?

regular O-rings are good for sealing against water.
get an automotive O-ring for gas/oil/hydraulic fluid sealing.
hydraulic fluid is very aggressive and can eat through anything
