    removing the clutch master cylinder

Ok, I got the instructions off installuniversity. com and removed the clip under the dash and the line from the transmission. How do I remove the bracket that is against the firewall but attached under the dash? The star washers are behind that but I can't get to them because this bracket is in the way. Thanks!

How did you pry the bracket out? It's connected to a bunch of other stuff. Really need some advice as I can't seem to budge that thing.

I just had one of those locking washers on my bolt. I got underneth of it with a screw driver or pry bar. Then I ripped the washer out and threw it as far as I could.

I bought a mini-prybar and it pulled it out enough for me to use a tin snip to snip the thing.
