    Pulling The Trans.

Can the trans be pulled out without pulling the bellhousing, or does it have to come out with the trans. Mines a 00.

NO you do not have to pull it with the bell.

Do i have to pull the stock y pipe, or can the trans be pulled with out taking it loose. The bolts look pretty rusty, and I don't know if I'd be able to seperate the pipe from the intermediate exhaust pipe.

Well, you can probably get it out without dropping the Y, but you'd be making the job a lot easier on yourself by getting it out of the way. Even if you have to cut the clamp off, you can get a replacement band clamp from almost any auto parts store.

just got finished changing clutch, mc, slave, and trans mount. When me and my buddy pulled the tranny out we found out that it's actually easier to pull the tranny then take the bell housing off. There's some bolts we found impossible to get to without taking it off that way...
