Powerband?
Just curious what the right shift points are in my 99 m6 t/a. Starting from a stop and going from, lets say 1st-4th gear, at what rpm should i shift to get the most power out of each gear?

You need to put your car on a dyno to see where your HP peak is at.
Rule of thumb is to shift just beyond the peak, I dynoed mine and it made peak power at 5400-5500 rpm so I shift around 57-5800. But every car can be different depending on mods.Craig

I only have a lid some free mods and a catback so I'm not much diffeent from stock. Even when the car was stock I didn't shift any different.
