    noise after installing short throw

    Hello,

I've just installed a B&M short through shifter in my 99 T/A. I like it so far, it's really tight the throws are a lot shorter and it's a lot more fun to drive. But, I'm getting more niose coming from the shifter opening. I didn't remove anything from there, but the noise sounds like a fluttering noise. It doesn't flopp out of gear and it;s easy to get in gear and it drives fine so I don't think there is anything wrong... just wondering about the noise. Has anybody experienced the same thing?

aftermarket shifters are usually noisier than stock. I have a B&M ripper and it has a little bit of noise to it in first gear... it is normal
