No Pedal Pressure and Won't go into Gear!

Ok, heres the deal. I have a 98 TA M6. I had a Cartek clutch installed about 5k miles ago, and the last 3 years I have only put 800 miles on the car. Today I took her for a spin and noticed it was really hard to get in and out of gear and I had no pressure in the pedal. Then I could not get it into any gear at all and I ended up calling AAA and was on a flat bed in no time. Thinking in the hydros. Any suggestions? Thank you

yep it probably the hydraulics. Check for leaks at the bottom of the bellhousing. Its a good idea to just replace both the master and slave. Use quality parts or you'll be doing it again

    GM Slave
GM master (from the dealership or GMPartsDirect.com) or Tick Master
Just don't go to AutoZone, O'Reilly's, Napa, etc. There master cylinders suck bad

I made the mistake of buying a master from Advance...leaked out of the pushrod seal the first time I installed it. Garbage. I returned it as defective and bought a GM master.

+1 on NOT buying from Advanced. I bought a new clutch for my old mustang there and it was complete trash. This is not something to skimp on.

Ok, so i got my new GM slave and Master installed. Got it bleed and the pedeal feels great. Took it for a ride and I can not down shift into first with out a grinding. The car has to be at a complete stop to shift into first. No other gear has a problem. I didn't not have this problem before the replacing the slave and master. Any thoughts??

Sounds like you may still have air in the system, causing the clutch not to fully disengage.
