    New clutch install?

Its time for a new clutch and I've decided to go with the ls7 clutch/ ls2 flywheel. Do I have to get the flywheel balanced to the crank? Also I order a new slave cylinder, master cylinder and pilot bearing. Do I use a ls1 pilot bearing or and ls2 pilot bearing? I bought an ls1 bearing, but then I started to second guess myself.

No, the plate and flywheel do not need to be balanced. You should replace whatever pilot bearing that you currently have. I suspect that would be the needle bearing type, not the sealed bearing type. The LS7 clutch will need to be bled very well, and will still release very near the floor initially. Mine came up to normal after a few hundred miles of use.
    Good luck.
