    Need help with problem

So a few days ago I was driving... Aggressively... I was shifting out of first at about 5,500 rpm and as soon as i released into second it slipped, HARD, and started chattering/grinding, LOUDLY. I pulled over right away and waited hoping to all hell i just overheated the disc or something stupid. As soon as i pulled away all was good until i got to about 1,500 rpm, than it did the same thing. I could drive the car at about 1,000 rpm slowly to get it home, but all gears would slip if revved up. I may be acting paranoid but before i go and spend a ton of money putting a clutch in, i wanna make sure that i don't have an issue with the trans or even the rear end... any input is better than none.
    Thanks in advance

So what exactly would that noise on the trans be? Did the clutch plate just blow out like a brake pad would? sorry for the stupidity i'm limited when it comes to a manual trans...

i have seen to different situations where the clutch it self break into pieces and the other is whent the material of clutch that comes on contact with the flywheel strips off of the clutch.

^^^Seen that as well. OP, your gonna have to take it somewhere or take it apart yourself to check the clutch assembly for damage.
