Monster stage 3 clutch and tick performance rebild
okay so i just had my transmission rebuilt by tick performance *stage 2* and i installed a monster stage 3 clutch i have 600 miles on the clutch and tranny now and it runs extremely nice While moving at any speed BUT when im at a dead stop flat on a hill or whatever and i release the clutch to began moving the car bucks hard and makes a clunking/chatter noise and then begins to move while driving theres no noises vibrations ect... keep in mind that just before i took my trans out and sent it to tick performance it did not do this...? HELP

Sounds exactly like clutch chatter.
Some of that can be expected with high performance clutches, especially Stage 3 and above.
Usually it happens during the break in period and then smooths out.
Its not doing any damage, its just the disc chattering as its grabbing against the pressure plate and flywheel.

How is the clutch in general? I was planning on buying one myself but havent heard anyone that had one. Does it feel like a on/off switch?
Also a friend of mine told me that prior to installing the clutch to apply powder chalk from a chalk line, and that it was supposed to help with the chatter of an aggressive clutch.
Does that Monster stage 3 let you roll out the clutch at least a little?
