Manual Tranny Stick Noise?
Having noise coming from stick after a missed shift 2nd to 1st instead of 2nd to 3rd. Did this damage the plastic isolator bushing only or what else could have got damaged internally?

If you missed the shift did it clash? If you actually got 1st( very possible) the noise you hear is most likely bent pushrods from over-speed.

About 40 mph. If it was bent push rods, why is the vibration noise in the tranny stick. NO gear grind, just a hard clunk, ann slow down.

Well at least you didn't over-rev the engine or transmission input shaft, 1st gear is good to 50MPH assuming you have stock 3.42 gears.
However, it definitely sounds like something broke, did you let the clutch out in 1st or just engage it??
