LT1/LS1 Slave Cylinder Question...
I work at a O'Reilly's here in OKC.. and I have looked all over for a Slave Cylinder for my 2000 Trans Am.. And NO luck so far by looking it up by application.. My friend TACE02 said that his mechanic in Dallas gave him a O'Reilly's part number that is used in the earlier LT1 6spd's.. Were the slave cylinder's the same back then as they are now in the LS1's?? I thought they were externally mounted in the LT1 era, and then internally mounted in the LS1 era.. I would appreciate and help on this guys!! Thanks a lot
(As far as I know TACE02 said that he had the previous slave put into his 02 T/A without any problems..) So they are the same?

here is the link to it at Oreilly's, notice how it says 02-96:
http://www.oreillyauto.com/EW3/Produ...ycleCount=1368
But yes this is the slave in my car and I have had no problems with it after @5000 miles and a Tex clutch.

You can pick up a GM performance slave cylinder from summit for around 130.
