Ls7 clutch update
I recently ordered a Ls7 clutch/ flywheel kit from Scoggin-Dickey. They were extremely helpful in helping my get my parts up here to Alaska without killing me with freight charges. With the help of a friend we installed it a couple of weekends ago. It went in with out a hitch. After putting 50 or so miles on it I'm pretty happy with it. I also did a new master and slave ( I learned the hard way about that.) Also my car is fairly stock so it should hold up until I get the procharger next year or two.

I had a shop install a stock oem clutch last year and it lasted 100 miles. I found out they never cleaned the packing oil off the flywheel and pressure plate, so once it got on the disc, I was screwed. A hard and expensive lesson to learn. I have a friend now that has a lot of experiance with f-bodys and he's already taught me alot.
