LS6 Clutch fitment on LS1
Does the LS6 fit directly onto the LS1 with no modification necessary? I'm thinking about getting some clutch work done, and thought I should just upgrade the clutch while I'm in there.
The reason I want the LS6 clutch instead of the LS7 is that it's cheaper (and I imagine it's lighter as well, but I have not been able to confirm this) and my power goals are right around C5 Z06 territory to begin with.

2009 Silverado Z71- 2003 Corvette MN6 Black
It'll bolt up fine. I just replaced the clutch on my C5 with a GM LS6 clutch. The LS6 is definitely lighter than the LS7 clutch, but the LS7 will hold more power. Both will drive like stock.
Shameless plug but if you change your mind LS6 vs LS7, I do have an entire LS7 clutch kit for sale
