Just ordered a Pro 5.0 w/ Lou's short stick
$225 (shipping included) ordered from afterthoughts. I hope it is fairly easy to install!
I can't wait to see the difference in shifting.
Anyone with any feedback from this set up, please feel free to share your story with me.

I installed my Pro 5.0 with LSS about a month ago and I absolutely LOVE it. It may take you a day or two to get comfortable with the new shift pattern, however the shifts are very positive and the throws are nice and short. I actually like the 2-3 shift better than the 1-2 shift with that setup.

Black on Black- 2001 ~ T/A ~ WS6 ~ M6
My WS6 has the upgraded Hurst shifter from the factory. How much of a difference would/does that aftermarket shifter make; that one you guys are yaking about? I would think that being a Hurst brand shifter, that would have been an excellent choice and good enough.

Pewter Metallic (1of?)- 2001 Formula M6(1 of 225)
I've always heard good things about the Pro 5.0. Felt good in my buddy's 98 Cobra, so before too long I will be getting one for the bird.

Well, it sounds like something worth looking into. I haven't had my T/A for very long and presently, I don't know of anyone (personally) who is an owner of one either. Life expectancy of motorized vehicles here in Michigan doesn't compare to the southern states.
I've had issues hitting certain gears and if the Pro 5.0 is the cure, in the future I believe I may be the proud owner of one as well.
I recently bought one of those 'Skip Shift Kits' because of that annoying 1st to 2nd skip. I hate the skip! Hopefully this device completely cures that as well, but I won't get a chance to find out until spring.

Yea I had the hurst short throw in my SS, I got the pro 5.0 for xmas and the install was a peice of cake. Just make sure you seal it correctly. The only downfall about the pro 5.0 is that it tends to vibrate a little. There is a little more cabin noise compared tot he hurst because the hurst was insolated so it made it a little more sound proof. You can fix the vibrations by using rubber washers or somthing like that. All in all the pro 5.0 was a great mod, the shifts are a lot more crisp now. Good luck with it

I still haven't installed it. I will try to get to it this weekend. Not a huge, rush, I just want it in there before I start driving it daily again.

jrc1122, did you do the install yet?
I'm going to bite the bullet and buy one. I've done a fair amount of investigating and it definitely looks like the way to go; hands down. (My age is starting to show! lmao!)
Here's a link I discovered that goes through the install process. I'm not sure if it's helpful or not, not until I get the Pro 5.0 in hand.
