    so my tranny went out hte other day as some of you may know so today i found a whole transmission set up outta an 01 Z06 will this fit my 99 trans am m6

    what Transmishion did you have and what dose the ZO6 have?

    I don't think they are interchangable. The Corvette trans is located in the rear of the car, bolted to the rear diff. The case is different I believe.

    They are NOT the same and will require rework to fit. If you don't want to do this yourself, save $$$ and sell this one and get the correct model.

    No they do not fit. The corvette is way different.
