Is this horrible for my Car.

Lets say rolling around 15 mph in first gear and, to just be a big kid, pressing in the clutch reving it up, and dumping it from a roll, just to break loose.

What about doing the same thing @ 30 mph in 2nd gear? (haven't tried that)

Ofcourse too much of anything is bad, but doing this every once in a while is it that bad?

I had a Mid 80s model Trans Am playing with me in traffic the other, day, and I rolled up beside him, and did it, ofcourse he loved it. I left a big ole smile on his face as well as mine.

If it is really bad for the car, what part would I be endangering?

i guess no one told him a camaro could break em loose without neutral dropping it!

maybe he thought its be like a big stall or a trans break?

hell if i know maybe he wanted it to break?

If you have a stock clutch I would say it's hard on the clutch due to the fact that you could haze it due to heat. But other than finding your weakest link NO it's not deathly bad.

Lt1 was the engine in the camaros from 93 to 97 that the ls1 replaced. When I say he snapped his clutch I mean that the outside of the clutch where it grips broke away from the inside of the clutch disk.
Heres a pic to so what i mean. inside of the circle it stayed intacted but it snapped the friction material off the rest of the clutch.

Thank you for breaking down what a lt1 is....... If you don't know now you know!! Your pic was very helpful in my confusion. And I think you were trying to SHOW me a pic and NOT so me a pic.
I had to get you since you fell for my response!! It's all good though. Don't be scared to ask ?'s that's why we are here.
