    Help: Top Bellhousing bolt

I am currently trying to remove the tranny to install my new clutch. The only thing stopping me is that I cant get to the Bell Housing bolt on the very top of the transmission. I have tried about everything extensions, flex heads... Anyhelp would greatly be appreciated. Please Help

Try about 3 foot of extension with a universal on the end and go over the top of the tranny from the back and have a friend line it up from the back of the engine.

yep!!! hell if you have to, use enough extensions and stand next to the rear end! You can never use too many. You should have enough wiggle room also to tilt the engine backwards.

Thanks guys, I finally managed to scrounge up enough extensions. I went to carquest and purchased a balt type swiveling universal, which made it a breeze. Wished I would have figured it out before taking the skin off my knuckles.

Least ill know for next time...

I was just doing that earlier today.
I just used a single maybe 18inch extension
    (tranny ate the starter....) literally.
