help--Metal in Metal chatter- need homemade gasket
I installed a Pro 5.0 a few weeks ago---
I used some gasket goo (I don't know what it is called)-- It is whatever the instructions asked for ....
anyway---
I have a bad Metal on Metal chatter. With windows up it is quite annoying.
I know some people make their own gaskets for this.
Can someone send me a How to link, or walk me through this?
I am not mechanically inclined-- so be specific please.
thanks in advance.

It what happens with the aftermarket shifter install. A gasket won't do a whole lot. The production upper handle is what trims that noise out with the rubber isolation. You prolly ditched that with the 5.0.
