    Help! Clutch issue?

Let me just say Hi, my names Alex, this is my first post here. I just bought my car 2 days ago (2000 z28 in my Sig). My first camaro and LS1. Now my issue is with the clutch pedal. It for one is soft, my buddy has a 99 z28 and he was saying it was definitly softer than his. My other issue is that it only comes half way up most the time, then eventually it just pops back all the way up... eventually, or if im in 1st or 2nd, and im a little aggresive with the throttle it will pop back up almost right away. But, no matter what only the half way up to the floor is where the clutch engages, from half way up to the all the way out i can push the clutch pedal in anywhere in between there and its empty, does nothing. Any ideas? master or slave cylinder? Thanks ahead for any help!

    Update

Now the clutch pedal is on the floor, i was on my way home today and the clutch wouldnt come close to fully disengaging with the pedal on the floor, i pumped the hell out of it to make it the last bit home but it doesnt come up from the floorboard now. Anyone here have any help or any other website/forum where i can find help?

i can pull it up but it still will just go right back to the floor without disengaging the clutch at all. Im probably just going to go with a hole new setup (master and slave) and possibly ls7 clutch and flywheel. I cant seem to figure out the issue so i will just replace the whole system.

You'll like the LS7 setup. I just installed mined about a month ago and it is superb. Pedal is softer than my last clutch, but it grabs like crazy and has very good street manners. Good luck.
