Navy Blue Metallic- 1998 Camaro SS
hard to get into any gears, then...
Hello everyone, I replaced my clutch, slave, etc last september and have probably put only 2000 km on the car since-99% normal driving-no racing. Anyways yesterday I was driving home and noticed that suddenly getting into any gear was not as smooth as usual, I had to almost force the shifter into the desired gear...drove the car this morning and it briefly did the same thing and then went away. Is this a sign of bad things to come to the tranny again??? Any info would be great!!!

hard shifting........
Synchros ....not likely...like u said ..not all at once. Sounds as if your clutch is still not releasing completely when you depress the pedal...dang hydraulic clutches are sooooooo aggravating.

what would be the likely cause of a clutch not releasing fully?

clutch not releasing
To be honest, there are several possibles. Starting with the least serious, the clutch may just need adjusting...it may be simply running out of "pedal travel" before you are fully disengaging the disc.
If not "adjustment", sometimes the pressure plate fingers will have distortion or fractures in one or more of them...with the same result..insufficient "disengagement travel".
It is even possible that the disc is partially delaminating...causing drag and incomplete disengagement.
Finally, sometimes the throwout bearing will be starting to seize, building up heat and causing the same result..not as common, though.
I am sure there are more possibilities, even, but these come to mind.
