Dumb Question

This is a dumb question obviously. When I shift hard when im driving hard (occasionally), when i hit it in 2nd the tranny thuds pretty hard. Im almost positive its the tranny mount, because Ive broken them numerous times in one of my old A4 F-bodies. With my auto, the tranny usually made some nasty noises and a thud if I acidently gave it too much gas, but my current M6 just thuds. I just need some reassuring before my lazy ass gets under my car and I have to order a new one. sorry for such a long thread

If its a thud from the trans hitting the tunnel, look for damage/ worn torque arm mounts as well as the usual xmember mount.
