    Downshift into 3rd grinds

    Anyone got an answer for this? T56 just put a new 5-6 and sync's in at a GM dealer less than 1K ago. Grinds with the cluth fully depressed and the down shift from 4-3 is the only time it happens. Usually after running the RPM to 4-5 thousand.

    i was gonna say ur synch's are out, but since u just got them put in idk wut to say. shift fork???

    I blew my trans last year, but i was fucking BANGING through the gears HARD.

    Shit dealer just went through the T56. They said eveything looked good. I know I am done with dealerships and GM. I hate to say it no follow up after the sale.

    What are sync's? Cause mine also grinds often
    SLP LT's, SLP High Flow Cats, 3" Flowmaster CB, Comp Cam, SLP Lid, LS6 Intake, BBK 80mm TB, SFC, Ram Air HO Hood, Lowered, Torq Thrust II's

    High rpm use with our clutches make the hydrolics take a shit. Just did a burnout the other day (4-6K rpm) and when I was done ALL my gears were locked out temporarily(grinded once) and the clutch was stuck to the floor.

    Since you mentioned you were in high rpms your clutch hydrolics probably weren't working correctly and the clutch wasn't fully engaging, which would explain the grinding.

    Does it have the same problem after low rpm use or just normal city driving?
