cluth or tranny problem? Help.....

I have about 1K on mine and I think it may off blew up. The car is locked out of 6th and when in neutral and I let off the clutch it bogs out like its stuck in gear. If I put in gear and let off the clutch nothing happens the car just holds its position. Some times if I put it in gear it has a hard getting out, its getting stuck utill I force it out. My question is what do you think the problem is, the tranny or clutch.

Mine was locked in forth from shifting hard. Although I could move the shifter into 1/2 with some force to break it free, it was still in fourth. The culprit was a small snap ring (internal c-clip) at the end of the 5/6 rail inside the tailhousing which had popped out of its groove. Everybody should have a copy of the Tremec Service Manual(booklet). If you open the tranny make sure to replace the 3/4 shift fork with a steel piece. The bent aluminum part will also cause missed shifts/popping out of gear. Have fun.
