Clutch master hose routing?

So I actually got my butt off the computer chair to go work on my car. I'm taking the clutch master cylinder out to do the drill mod. The reservoir hose was routed under the u-bolt clamp and kinda pinched about have way closed. I'm thinking its not supposed to be routed this way. Check out the pics and let me know what you think.

it looks like its supposed to when its installed the slave line runs to the left and down to the slave,the rubber covering goes under the heat shield,i cant really see where you say it was pinched though.

oh the res line sorry,ya i would just undo it and turn it so the curve heads up,i dont think the booster will be in the way.

Yeah I played around with it today and spun the res hose around so that it points up and over the u-bolt. I found a few picture online and in the GM service manual that seem to show it that way, although none of the pictures where really clear.
