    Clutch Chatter when in neutral

    Please help, Installed a SLP clutch kit about 15k ago. whenever in neutral after the car warms up there is a chatter from the clutch, but when i depress the clutch pedal it stops. What is the problem, im thinkin i need a new throw out bearing??? Any help would b great.

    what happens if you put slight presure on pedal? a loud bearing wont chatter its a different noise,like a whirling sound. pedal to the floor and its quiet may point to tranny

    Yeah when i put the pedal to the floor it stops. I had it looked at and some suggested the pilot bearing, but to change it theyd have to take the tranny off and look at it, if they have to do all that work id rather rebuild the whole thing at once to make sure.
