What are the guidlines for breaking ina clutch? How long/many miles does it take also? Any help is appreciated. Im getting ready to put in a LS7 clutch/flywheel and new slave. Thanks!

Electric Blue Pearlcoat- 1995 Trans Am(LS1 Convert
I have replaced mine a few times, and I was always told to be easy on it for about 500 miles to avoid hotspots on the flywheel, which will result in chatter.

agreed.... still breaking mine in as well... Sucks when you don't hardly ever put miles on the car...

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
well i put my ls7 clutch in the day before a track day. Drove 100 miles city driving and then went to the track. No problems at all but it has tobe city on the e-way you don't clutch as much. i'am not saying not to do the 500 miles probably a good idea! just saying mine is fine after 100 mile break in
