    Angry Big trouble with the slave cylinder on 2000 trans am ws6 n

    ok so just 3 days ago, i got A new rebuilt transmission 6 speed. the slave cylinder went out and€ then i got it replaced with a new one. 2 hours later down the road it broke again. so if anyone knows whats€ wrong that would great

    Did it break again after driving it hard? Did you make any high-rpm shifts in that 2 hours?

    I'd be willing to bet you got internal leakage in the master cylinder.

    The master isn't too bad of a job to get off. Might be worth checking out. Hardest part is bleeding the fluid when you re-install or replace it.

    I know for sure my master cylinder went bad and then my slave cylider went bad right after. It started with my master leaking internally.

    What do you mean broke? Did it just stop working correctly or it broke apart into 2 or more pieces? Also what slave are you using GM, parts store, ect?

    i got my slave cylinder from car quest. after the first one broke, the shiop replaced it. then 2 and half hour s later the second slave cylinder broke. sorryn im kinda drunk and pissed off bout the car. but i t6alked to fbody motor sports they say it might just be a bad slaave cylinder or the cutch isnt alighmned properally

    Yeah my two thoughts were either just a crap slave or when the tranny/clutch was installed the slave got messed up.

    alrighty so i havent been on since september 21st, my bad. to update, it was the clutch that went bad, everything got put back together and is runnin fine now. thanx guys for tryin to help me figure out what the fuck was up with my TA. she drives like a dream and purs like a kitten.
