    It depends on your mods....

The LS7 is a GREAT swap (in my opinion). The clutch retains stock driveability (quiet and smooth), however it has much more holding power. I'm putting down over 570 rwhp on the spray and still haven't had a bit of trouble with my LS7 clutch. Eventually I'll upgrade to a Textralia as I continue to turn up the juice, however the LS7 clutch has been great!

As for the SPEC Stage 3's -- frankly, they're hit and miss. Some guys on the site absolutely love them and there are just as many guys that have had to replace one after 3,000 miles. I think you'll find most of the guys running the LS7 kit provide positive feedback.

Do you know if there is a lightweigt FW when using the LS7 clutch? The aluminum is too light for my tastes, but gotta be something in between.

I say skip the LS7. Still just a GM clutch. There's better ones out there that will drive fine. I reccomend Mcleod. Heard good things about the new Monster Clutches as well.
