A clutch out of a 97 will not fit your 99. They tranmissions are different, the bellhousings are different, and the clutch release system is different.

I reccommend ordering the LS7 kit from the sponsors, it maintains stock pedal feel and longevity, but it holds significantly more power than stock. You should be able to get a complete package (flywheel, clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout, pilot) for slightly over $400.

I'd say Centerforce Dual Friction or a Spec Stage 3+.

well i had ordered the spec stage 3+ and i have to cancel it in 8 hours or i dont get my money back..im almost stock so i was told that the stage 3 would be too much clutch..the stage three kit was $404 and the ls7 clutch is gunna be $500 with the flywheel...what yal think??????

I'd say Spec Stage 3+. I've heard nothing but good things about it. Also take into account your gonna need to have the flywheel machined if you go that route, as well as your gonna wanna replace the pilot bearing (not sure if its included), throughout bearing (don't think its included), slave cylinder, and '01-02 master cylinder with drill mod if you have the cash. Its definately worth it so you don't have to pull the tranny again.
