    6 speed questions?

Should I loose my pedal after I shift hard everytime? Doesnt matter on motor or the juice. Im getting to the point of almost thinking of putting in a TH350 in it, but I like stick cars. Or is it just u cant speed shift these cars? 1999 T/A M6 Thanks

You either have a bad cluch master cylinder or slave cylinder. Try the master first as it is much easier to change than the slave. If you still have the issue you will have to drop the tranny and change out the slave.

just curious, what clutch you have??? Mine did the same thing, turns out the centerforce I had took a crap, it messed up the slave but I didn't realize that until a month after I installed a SPEC 3+ and thats when I started loosing the pedal again when running it hard. turns out the slave in return caused my SPEC to take a dump. so I ended up having to buy a new clutch. 3 different clutches in my car in less than 2 months, that sucked. Hopefully u won't have the same luck.

No the slave wont have to be replaced often. In 98-99 the slave was inferior. In 2000 it was redesigned and is much better. Still not perfect but better. A new one should outlast a clutch.

As long as it is the slave that was made for the 01-02 F-bods, then you are allright. I am just picky, if I have to replace my clutch twice then I will for $65 just go ahead and replace the slave too. I would rather spend a little extra now, then something break later and I think why didn't I do that when I had the chance. I think for me that is a good rule of thumb, for every 2 clutches install new slave...But yes the slave should out last the clutch no matter how hard you are on the car.
