6- speed help
can anyone tell me if a 6-speed behind an lt1 will work behind an ls1? if not can u tell me the difference, thanks

It can be converted. The bellhousing, clutch setup, input shaft and front cover are different. Plus bearings would need to be swapped and trued.

But IMHO, you'd be better off getting a T56 meant for the ls1. If things are not setup properly, you could cause major damage to both the transmission and engine.
