    3rd?

anyone else have trouble with third at the drag strip or at high rpms on the street? 1/2 the time the clutch sticks to the floor and the other half i can't get it into third. i bled the clutch to ensure there was no air and i plan on doing at least the drill mod before next year if not upgrading the whole master cylinder. i also sprung for the pro 5.0 shifter and short stick...problem continues.
hopin the new m.c. will do the trick.
i've got 363 rwhp and 372 rwtq with suspension and tire upgrades and i'm only running 13.5 because i have to wait until rpms drop to shift into 3rd or it'll just grind, especially when speed shifting. 1-2 is awesome, 2-3 is out of the question when speed shifting. reeeeeeeeeeeeeal frustrating.

that's somethin i've considered too, bad clutch or synchros. really leaning toward synchros. i bought the car with 82,000 miles and it had definately been neglected it. i look at it like i was rescuing her. runs phenominal now, except for the shifting thing.
ls7/2 clutch combo might be needed in the near future.
your car looks good by the way. i've always loved the H.O.!

Definatly a synchro. If it was the clutch going bad you'd probably notice it on other shifts as well. Not just 3rd. Plus normally, with a Pro 5.0 it takes effort to actually miss 3rd.
