1998 z28 making noise
my 1998 z28 camaro (manual transmission) is making a noise that sounds like it is the rear end however it doesn't get louder it stays at the same pitch through all gears. it had been sitting for five years before i bought it this year but i put all new fluid in and the noise did not change. Any suggestions?

What kind of noise? could be many things.

reply to what noise
it sounds like a scraping. i think it might be a bearing from sitting so long. the sound is near the yoke.

you are probably right. I had a bearing go bad on my 02 TA in the rear end, it made a loud grinding wawa sound at all speeds.
