yank 3300 stall
will this stall coverter hurt my motor in any means? or could it cause a piston to melt? please let me know, thanks!!

No, the stall converter is hard on the transmission, and the rearend until lockup. The STR (torque multiplier) is mostly what does it.

Yes STR is Stall Torque Ratio.

go to fuddle racing's site ( sponor links) and read a little bit. John did an excellent job of explaining what a convertor does.
