you have to stay with the LT1 style 4L60E. the LS1 style has a remove able bell housing and bolts to the oil pan. it also has a different input shaft that requires a different torque converter.
so, look for a 94-97. the 93 wasn't electronic shift.Cold Air Intake, Muffler Delete, Vinci High Performance Dual Valve Springs, Hardened Pushrods, Yella Terra 1.85 Rockers, Some Hydropdipped Stuff, Strut Tower Brace, Some SS Badges, boost/vacuum gauge, fuel pressure gauge, some checkered stripes, drilled/slotted rotors, ZL1addons Stealth wickerbill, Ruxifey LED side markers

no... the converter is definetly different... and the only difference in the transmossion that i am aware of is the ls1 only has 5 bolts and the lt1-previous has 6 bolts to the engine. i believe they will crossover ull just have a bolt missing.

The 1993 & 1994 are all its own (no pwm). The 1995 is the first pwm and is all its own. The 1996 & up are pretty much the same, with minor differences over the years. These differences are due to the types of solenoids being used. The addition of the pwm solenoid, etc.
