    What color is a stock torque converter?

    I've got a new to me 2000 T/A and after looking at it underneath over the weekend I see it's got a blue torque converter. Looks like a 'Ford' blue color. Is it stock?

    Stock converter is like a bare metal if I remember correctly. First company that pops to mind that is blue is Precision.

    Stock is bare metal with hints of surface rust. lol I believe you have a B&M converter. Best way to find out your stall speed is to flash the converter. Get the car up to operating temp. then from a stop just floor the gas and see where the tach needle goes from idle.
