turbo 350 in an evo rwd?
Currently I have a evo that I specifically use to drag and have some fun on the street. Im at the point where my awd components just arent holding up to my power. Imk going thru clutches and transfer cases like its my job. I have a couple GM buddies opening a performance shop and I ve mentioned before going to rwd. After researching prices on a trans, custom driveshaft and some other goodies to keep the tires to the ground. Now my car is so unpredictable off the line. My 60fts range from 1.50 to 1.8's. with a best time of 10.40@138.
My question is what stall would I need to get me off the line?

Here's a dyno graph of my car. It made 600/529 lbs TQ. It doesnt make power till 5500rpms all the way. The guy was recommending a 4600 stall. at 4600 the cars making about 350-400whp at that point. He says it will spool better in the auto. What do you guys think will be a good stall.

i would say 4k. the torque seems to gets a nice kick in that area. and it wont be so much power that the car will just spin pending set up. if you dont have any traction problems than you should be able to up the stall to 4400-4600. but i would assume you would still need to test a few different stalls to find the best match for you. anywhere in the 4k-4600 has solid tq and hp. but do not go over 4800 or you will be straight into peak tq. it would be best to build it up a bit especially for boost. you will likely be in peak boost with 4k rpms.
