transmission problem

hello: I have a 1999 chevy camaro ss automatic transmission that woul not shift any gear and I already rebuild the transmission did some one know the problem?

I assume you have fluid in the transmission, the torque converter is bolted to the flex plate, and the shift cable is connected? Always start with the simple things...

Also, are you 100% certain that the converter engaged the pump tangs when you slid it into the transmission?

With regards to your post, I would like to share about this. Automatic transmissions are topic of a bit of arms race of late, specifically concerning the amount of transmission gears, as more gears are likely to generate better efficiency. However, Julio Caspari, head of ZF in North America, thinks the maximum amount of gears will be reached soon. You can get bad car credit to pay for your brand new vehicle.
