TMAX Torque converter?
Hi guys, im changing out my A4 and i thought it had a stock torque converter in it, but the one that came off has a tag on it that says TMAX 2420 and under that 8325.
Am i safe to assume this is an aftermarket TC or is this what GM puts in the WS6 stock? No one around here carrys stock, and this is my daily driver more than anything so i really was trying to keep my MPG up. So i was hesitent to put a higher stall TC in. BUT if its aftermarket then i may just put this one back in. I didnt want to slap a stock TC with 102k miles on it.
Thanks,
Casey
