    Stall Question!

I am currently running stock on my 02 A4, but have found a Fundle P.3400 that I can get pretty cheap. Whats the most you would pay for it used? I know my cam is set up for mid range about 3600+, but shop believes this would be work pretty well for me too. I think I can talk the guy down to a good price about $200. Originally about $600. Whats everyones think?

Not to be a jerk but I wouldn't run a fuddle if you gave it to me.

They seem to be hit or miss and John's customer service is non existent. If it dumps it is going to take your tranny out with. Some budget things are ok but a TC is no place to cut corners IMO. I have always had good luck with Yank but there are other good ones two.

I probably wouldn't mess with Fuddle convertor either. I also wouldn't shortcut with a convertor in fear of blowing your tranny.

For 200.00 bucks, and you're not hitting it with 500 + HP.... I'd throw it in !!! Down the road with more mods, you would want to rebuild & upgrade the tranny, but at least this will be fun for now.

What if it blows his tranny in 2 months? Still fun?

What.... I'm not allowed to voice my opinion ?
It might last two years...Two days... You just never know.
Yes, it is recomended that you should have the transmission rebuilt, using the beast sunshell, and all HD parts. Add a cooler in front of the radiator too.
Everytime I break my car, I rebuild the weak link stronger... I'm still running my 98 4l60e with a 4600 tci stall, averaging 1.38 60 foots every weekend.
    Again, just my opinion.

It was just a question, not saying you can't voice opinion. With Fuddles history, I just wouldn't risk my tranny by putting their stall in, just too much risk for my liking
