putting 1 98 trans am tranny in 96 impala?
anybody know what probs i might run into

two bottom bellhousing bolts go into the oil pan in LS1 cars. the torque converter distance to flexplate is different. you'll need an adapter that some places sell for that. PCM may not have the same pinouts as 98. so, you'll have to figure that wiring mess out as well.

The 96 computer cannot run the 98 transmission. 96 used a PWM 3-2 ds solenoid. 98 is on/off.
